Established in 2006, The Aristocrats Cricket Club is playing its first year in Division C of the ACTSSCA.
With
a host of ex-St. Edmund's College boys and locals of Queanbeyan populating its founding ranks, the mixture of sheer natural
skill and alcoholism make the team a formidable force between the hours of 12pm and 2pm. After this time most players loose
their heads.

The
Clash in the Capital superseded all expectations and was by far the most evenly matched game of the season. Unfortunately,
the ACC 1st XI fell an agonizing 6 runs short of glory. Poor fielding and catching let what should have been a
small target blow out to 200. Despite Ellis (64) and Henski (40) putting the side in good stead at drinks at
2/92, it was not to be. In the fading light, the team watched an inaugural premiership dissipate as the match boiled down
to the final over.
The
ACC Board announced a date for the end of year Gala Dinner. The 25th of March, after the Grand Final "Clash in
the Capital" will see a star studded line up converge on The Show Mansion
to celebrate the season that was. Tickets are available from ticketek, at $550 per head or a table for $5000*. In other news,
Grand Final tickets go on sale Thursday 22nd March also through Ticketek. (*Tables seat 12, including 2 members of the Aristocrats 1st XI Squad.)

Grand
Final fever has struck The ACC as they plowed their way one closer to Division C glory with a scrappy win over the Beer
Monkeys. Some good bowling at the death by Carroll and Ellis saw the Beer Monkeys dismissed for 152. After a shakey
start, the Aristocrats ran out winners by 4 wickets with Carroll once again dominating with the bat. Details >>>

So close and yet so far! But as
they say in France:
Désirent ardemment de phase
le roi,
Le roi est mort,
Tous grêlent le nouveau roi,
Désirent ardemment de phase le roi.
We'll be
back.
